Version 1.2
What's New
Core updates focused on performance, scaling, and user experience improvements.
Performance and Scrolling
- Improved scrolling behavior in X-Ray and Cone Beam panels by removing repeated scroll reset logic during configure events.
- Removed scroll-position fighting behavior that caused controls to jump between top and bottom.
- Stabilized mouse wheel handling to reduce stutter and improve scroll consistency.
- Kept Intro page smooth-scrolling behavior as the reference model across UI sections.
- Optimized rendering engine behavior for better performance and responsiveness on laptop-class hardware.
Resolution and Window Scaling
- Corrected resolution preset geometry mapping so selected presets now target true dimensions.
- Updated preset handling to clamp window geometry to physical screen bounds to avoid OS fallback sizing.
- Resolved cases where selected 1920x1080 and 3840x2160 resulted in undersized windows.
- Added UI resolution scaling preset support from 1920x1080 through 5120x1440.
Default Image Scale Updates
- Updated default image scales for larger displays (1440p and above):
- X-Ray default scale set to 125%.
- Cone Beam default scale set to 100%.
Release Mode UI Cleanup
- Improved release-mode detection for packaged executable builds.
- Hidden test-only controls in release builds, including Good/Bad use case buttons and random deviation controls.
- Hidden internal path and DICOM location details in release mode.
- Aligned packaged release UI behavior with release launcher expectations.
Note: These updates focus on user-facing stability, consistency, and production-facing UI behavior.
Note: Output dimension settings per preset remain supported alongside updated scaling defaults.
